Do you need to go back to work or work at home in peace and quiet, but you’re struggling with sending your kids back to school? We have a solution! You drop off your child and their device and we will provide the space and Wi-fi. Supervised quiet mornings for virtual learning and socially distant activities in the afternoons.
Studio 16 Dance Center is offering a Study Hub for students who are participating in At-Home learning through their school in grades 1-8. We provide the Wi-fi and space to participate in school work and virtual meetings in a quiet, socially distanced atmosphere with supervision by a certified teacher. All you provide is the electronic device and supplies that your student will need to complete his/her school work and a healthy snack and lunch. Parents can return to work knowing that their child is in a safe environment with all the necessary safety protocols followed. The Studio 16 Study Hub has a limited number of spots available. There will be a maximum number of 15 spots. The program will begin September 8th, and run through the 2020-2021 school year.
7:30am-3:30pm | Monday-Friday
Open to students in grades 1-8
Each student will have their own individual workspace. You will be asked to provide your child’s school schedule to ensure that all classwork and any virtual meetings are kept and followed. All school work should be followed up based on your guidance. Please supply earbuds or headphones for virtual learning.
The Studio 16 Study Hub will be under the direction and supervision of Karie Horton, a certified teacher with 13 years of teaching experience in Lindale ISD with children of all ages.
Your child will be expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. They must participate in and complete school work independently within reason. Students will be expected to be respectful towards others as well as to the supervising adult(s). Behavior problems or any lack of compliance will result in a student being suspended from the study hub program.
Each student must have their own transportation. Parents must give permission for anyone other than the parent to pick up their child.
Parents should send their child a healthy lunch and snack. Water bottles are encouraged to have throughout the day. Parents should make any peanut allergies known upon enrollment.
Students will be allowed to take multiple breaks throughout the day as needed for snack, lunch, restroom, and physical activity all while remaining socially distant.
Students will have a 45 minute Kid Fit Cardio class in the afternoons to get their physical activity in for the day. Students will also have arts and crafts each week.
Our Studio 16 accommodations will ensure that we are providing a safe environment for all students
